The mindset of Swiss 200m Champion Léonie Pointet
I started athletics at the age of 8. I quickly headed for the sprint. It was after the COVID that I made huge progress in one year, improving my 100m PB by 7 tenths and my 200m PB by 1.5 seconds. After a final change of coach at the end of 2022, I’ve regained stability and the motivation to achieve my goals, which are to take part in European and World Championships and qualify for the Olympics, whether as an individual in the 200m or with the 4x100m team.
